The B.R.A.V.E. Committee (Brant’s Response Against Violence Everywhere) is a collaboration of twenty-five community-based organizations representing Brantford, Brant County, and Six Nations of the Grand River. The different sectors represented include justice partners, child welfare services, education, shelter and housing, health, mental health, immigration/settlement services, counseling and support, sexual violence, LGBTQ, and Aboriginal services.
Each sector and respective agency provide specific and valuable expertise that assist in strengthening the partnerships and network of services for survivors, perpetrators, and their families.
B.R.A.V.E. meets once per month and is currently co-chaired by Victim Services of Brant and the Sexual Assault Centre of Brant.
