Orange Shirt Day
A day to raise awareness about Canada's shameful history of the Residential School System, and to acknowledge and honour those who were lost to, and those affected by Residential Schools. Moving Forward Together Survivor’s Gathering
The Woodland Cultural Centre invites survivors of the Residential School System from Six Nations, Northern Ontario, and Quebec for the first Annual Moving Forward Together Survivor's Gathering. A healing walk in support of survivors will take place down the walkway of Woodland Cultural Centre at 11:00am. Supporters are encouraged to write words of healing and encouragement to survivors along the walk way. Signs are also welcome.
